This blend of straight rye and rye whiskey aged 1, 5 and 12 years from the Vermont distiller which contains 20% liquid produced at their very own farm. The remainder coming from Alberta Distillers in Canada, and MGP distillery in Indiana. Warm amber in colour. The bouquet shows golden raisin and treacle aromas, as well as cereal and butternut squash. The palate is dry and herbal, with faint hints of vinous fruit, herbs and spices, and plenty of oak. It finishes short, with almond, chocolate, and Amaro-like herbaceousness, lingering with hints of tobacco and cardamom.
