About The third release in Macallan’s Harmony Collection, is inspired by ripe barley fields and Scottish meadows. This malt was aged in a combination of Sherry barrels and bourbons barrels, bottled at 88.4 proof and without any added coloring. Sweet and fresh on the nose with honeysuckle blossoms, juicy apples, vanilla icing, plums and sweet baking spices. Supple and mouth-coating on the palate with sweet honey and vanilla, coconut flakes, poached pears, figs and sweet toasted oak. The finish brings in some welcome floral lift along with lemon zest, almond cake and orchard fruits.
