A natural, fresh and vegan Rioja. Alona, which means “a strong, beautiful woman,” gives its name to this natural wine, which was made without the use of sulphites. It is made entirely with grapes from some of the top vineyards in the Rioja Sonsierra and Alto Najerilla.Medium-high robe, cherry red with bluish rim. Fruit is the dominating aroma, with notes of blackberries mainly, but also hints of cherry. Fruit is expressed once again on the palate, & the lack of additional sulphites emphasizes this fruity flavor.
