Wine Advocate 90 points - The NV Eureka! Red Blend Batch No. 2 is composed of 64% Zinfandel, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Syrah, 4% Petite Sirah and 2% other grapes. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, it bounds boldly from the glass with notions of baked plums, dried mulberries and fruitcake plus hints of licorice, Chinese five spice and Sichuan pepper. Medium-bodied, the palate is jam-packed with juicy black fruit and spicy layers, supported by plush tannins and great freshness, finishing with a peppery kick.
