About A perfect pour for the holidays. French oak trees grow more slowly than their American counterparts, leading to a tighter wood grain, which ultimately enhances the spice that is already present in Angel’s Envy’s rye. Baked apple, warm spice and brown sugar lead the nose, with lemon curd and raspberry candy supporting. Tons of spice on the palate, with cinnamon powder, black pepper and cardamom leading into orange zest and vanilla cream. Long in the finish with focused oak spice and vanilla laced caramel cookies slowly fading. The Whiskey Hotline.
